"The Welcome" has been a pub since at least 1826 and probably for much longer. There is a large restaurant upstairs, with a compact, but cosy, public bar on the ground floor. Outside there is a front terrace with seating, as well as a larger patio garden area at the rear, which includes a children's play area and separate smoking area, plus a separate Games Room. Food from an extensive menu is served in all areas, with Sunday Lunch served from 12 until 4pm.
